John,
You were my Forever Friend. We have been friends since as long as I can remember. Or as you liked to tell people, since you put flies in my sandwich in second grade. You were the friend I could call anytime. Sometimes we would talk often, maybe even miss a month, but we always got right back to where we started. I can hear you right now, “I’m very proud of you.” I love you and miss you already. You will always hold a special place in my heart.
