Dear O'Rourke Family,
Bob and I are so sorry for your loss and what a loss it is! Some of the best days of our lives were spent in Oakland and with your Mom. She was a bundle of energy and goodness those many years ago when we were so busy with our young families. Your mom was always ready to volunteer for your activiies. It was a privliege to have spent time with both your parents. I admired Muriel so much. Time passes so quickly. May God help you through this sad time and may the wonderful memories you all must have sustain you. You know she is in heaven after a life well lived. Sincerely, Bob and Tryna Adair

I have fond memories of growing up in Oakland as a friend of Peggy's, ice skating at the lake & going to the movies or bowling with our Moms always handling the carpooling.
I had no idea your Mom worked at American Cyanamid...guess that's where she got to know my Mom!
Treasure your memories with your Mom to help you get thru this time of sadness and know that we are all keeping you in our prayers!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I have such fond childhood memories of your mom and how she opened her heart and home to me. Whether it was making christmas cookies, serving hot chocolate after a sleigh ride down your back yard, driving us to school, packing us snacks for crystal lake, letting me squeeze into your dinner table. or taking care of my dog, Marshmellow, these memories are cherished and mean more than you know.

I was very saddened to hear Mrs. O'Rourke passed away this morning, her legacy will live through her loving family. My most memorable memory is when Terry was born and the excitement in having a little boy in your family - with the mobile in his bassinet with toy cowboys! May your vibrant memories comfort you all, she's at peace and so proud of you all.
