My condolences to your family. I just learned of George’s passing while I was searching for George via LinkedIn to thank him for an act of kindness many years ago. I used to work with George as a service provider to Bayer. I thought of George’s kindness today as I came across a “Tickle me Elmo” doll Santa gave to my then 5 year old daughter. George told where I could find the sold out doll in downtown Union, NJ. Sure enough it was there for purchase. My daughter is now 24. Thanks again George!

To the Burik family- I was out of the country and shocked to hear of George's passing. I worked with George for nearly 30 years at Berlex / Bayer and came to know him as a unique person. He was our go-to expert for anything logistics related and he was always able to accomplish what others considered to be impossible. However, of equal importance was his sense of humor. He always had a joke (some repeatable) and you never knew what cartoon or joke would be awaiting you when you came to his office. I know that he was extremely proud of his family and I extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to you. He will be missed.
Sincerely
Ira Arshen

Dear Rose,
I am shocked and so sad to hear that while we were enjoying the casino, your Husband George was on his destiny to his Father God. I mourn with you and your children at this
loss of your dear one. He sounds like a wonderful man. I am, sorry I didn't have the joy of knowing him. I have seen your warm, welcoming bubbly personality just recently, down at the Oak. senior center, It sounds like your husband shared these warm personality traits.I can tell from his obituary that he was a man of faith, and so I look forward to seeing him in Heaven some day.
May you and your children feel the loving arms of Christ around you all at this time.
Very sincerely yours,
Susan Shaw

We are so sorry we could not be there today. We would like to extend our deepest condolences.
George will be greatly missed. Even though we only got to see Rose, George and Dan approximately once a year, since we moved from Ringwood, when we got together we never missed a beat.
One of our fondest memories of George was the first night we moved into our new house in Ringwood and George trudged threw the 30 inches of snow that was on the ground to invite us to New Year's Eve. We had such a good time we made a path joining our two houses. We became a family.
Let's not forget George the Fireman. When our house was burning down. He saved it. He also saved us from Frosty the Torch at his own house. With George's dry witt we laughed about this inside joke constantly.
George will be greatly missed but never forgotten. He was a great neighbor and a great friend.
Rest in Peace

My deepest sympathy to the whole family. I know Mr. Burik through his daughter Catherine, who was so close to him. He loved being with Catherine and her children, so happy altogether. His presence will be truely missed around here, because I was Catherines neighbor I saw him a lot and especially remember when he brought his Volkswagen around, again so proud and happy to talk about it and show it off

Though I only worked with George for about 5 years I always passed along my email jokes to him and of course he would always pass along all of his political jokes to me. Then, sometimes he would stop by my work cubicle to deliver the more "salty" political jokes he had in his repertoire... May he rest in peace and I hope to run in to him on the other side sometime (on the Reagan side of heaven, of course!).

George and I worked together at Berlex/Bayer for many years. It was a pleasure to work with George. He knew logistics inside and out, he was dependable, and he didn’t waste time trying to be politically correct…he would say what he thought, without equivocation, like it or not! Underneth all the bluster he was such a nice guy. Throughout the years we became friends. He was one of a kind.
RIP George.
With my sincere condolences to the Burik family.

Mr. Burik was one of he most interesting people I have met in my entire life. he was always ready with a historical fact, a great story or willing to endure a toddler attempting his trumpet. it was always a pleasure to spend time with him as he had such a welcoming aura about him. I pray he is at peace in Paradise.

Sorry to hear about the passing of George. But happy he is in the presence of our Lord. I have fond memories of George serving at the coffee bar at His Word Ministries. He and Patty liked talking politics....and they had many laughs. I love the end of his obit where it says to VOTE REPUBLICAN....that was George. :)
My love and condolences to Rose and the family. Will be praying for you all during this hard time. George will be greatly missed.

What a wonderful man, who was a Godly man, great husband, great father and grandfather, great provider, kind, tenderhearted, history lover, and servant.
George I always loved our times together. You filled the room with laughter, and yet always amazed me of your knowledge of current events in the room.
Your love for your family was obvious and off the charts! Rose, Danny, and the rest of the family, your George was the best! Let his life inspire yours!
I know we will see you again George! Cannot wait to hear some new jokes!
Love,
Jere

Dad.....
No words can discribe what kind of impact you made in my life. From the day you adoupted me till Monday when you went home to Jesus. You never told me your feelings but I know you are proud of me graduating from the Fire Academy, the Police Academy and becoming a Fire Lieut with RVFD. The last 6 months you were clearly not you. I miss you dad. I love you.... I wish I was able to tell you one last time.
Forever in your debt.
I LOVE YOU DAD!!!!!!!!!
