Having grown up and played softball with the police and first aiders in Oakland with a wonderful, total being, Clarence was a role model for society that will be truly missed!!! My sympathies go to all dear to him for our loss – I’m sure the OPD and all who served and knew him that closely paid a respectful farewell service. After having just received this notice this morning (Fri.,6/19/15) subsequent to my returning from a FDNY fire chief’s funeral last night on Long Island, I regret the conflict – it would have been a difficult choice!
