Robert Predmore passed away peacefully at the Oakland Care Center on Thursday, May 30, 2013. Robert is survived by his wife Hazel Predmore, and his children, Catherine D'Aloisio, Robert Predmore, and Brian Predmore, as well as brothers Oscar Predmore, Frieda Potishnak, Frank Bruno, Fred Bruno, and a sister Janet Branvall, as well as 9 grandchildren, and 6 great - grandchildren. He is pre-deceased by siblings Mabel Polastro, and Laura Black. Robert was a long-time resident of Oakland. He served in the US Navy and proudly served the community for many years as a member of Post 369 American Legion in many capacities. He also participated in local softball and bowling leagues. Funeral service will be on Monday June 3, 2013 at the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland, NJ at 10AM. Burial at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Totowa, NJ. Friends may visit on Sunday June 2 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Roberts name to American legion post 369 Oakland NJ.
