Roth, Henry John “Hank” 56, of Oakland, NJ died unexpectedly February 2, 2013. Loving husband of 29 years to Emilie Nosworthy. Irreplaceable father of 3 wonderful sons,
Daniel, Alexander, and Wesley. Beloved son of Monica Cataldo and Henry R. Roth Sr. (East Setauket, NY). Cherished brother of Debra Roth, Laurie Gatti, and Nancy Roth (NYC). Fantastic brother-in-law of Mario Gatti and Eileen Rich (NYC), Bob and Crystal Nosworthy (NC), Laura and John Robarge (OH), John Nosworthy (MD), and Dave Nosworthy (PA, deceased 2002). Beloved son-in-law of Jean Philiber-Nosworthy (deceased 2001) and Bernardo F. Nosworthy (deceased 1983). Unforgettable uncle to Lola and Stella Gatti (NYC), Bree Nosworthy-Barbour and husband Brad (NC), Brooke Nosworthy-Leslie and husband Heath (NC), Colin Nosworthy (PA, deceased 2002), Ben Robarge (OH), and Christine Robarge-Dennis and husband Rick (OH). Along with a long and loving list of extended family and many friends who are devastated by his loss. Born in Jamaica, NY December 5, 1956. Raised in St. James, NY. Proud 1978 graduate of Syracuse University and of SUNY School of Environmental Science and Forestry. A master craftsman, carpenter, and general contractor by trade, and founder/owner of Greyhawk Construction for 25 years. Hank was a passionate fan of the NY Giants, NY Yankees, and Syracuse Basketball. 8-year co-captain of Six Shooters dart team of Hawthorne’s Front Porch Bar. Coached many Oakland Rec. sports teams for 15 years. An avid Dead Head and music lover, he also volunteered as a roadie for Montclair’s Outpost in the Burbs music venue and for the IHHS Marching Band.
Numerous community activities Cub Master (Pack 307), Boy Scout mentor (Troop 49), Oakland Communications Commission cameraman, and former member of Oakland Father’s Club. Viewing will be Friday, Feb. 8, 2-4, 6-9 pm at Oakland Memorial Home, Oakland, NJ. Celebration
of Life service will be Saturday, Feb. 9, 10 am at Ponds Reformed Church, Oakland, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to help support Hank’s children, Daniel, Alexander, and Wesley
