Joseph Vincent D'Onofrio, 95, of Wayne, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on November24, 2018. Joseph was born in Yonkers, NY to Anthony and Mary D'Onofrio on July 14, 1923. He attended Saunders High School and after graduation enlisted into the Army and fought in WII. Upon his return, Joseph then went to receive an Electrical Engineering Degree from Columbia University. He worked as an electrical engineer with Singer/Kearfott for over 20 years. In his spare time, Joseph was an avid HAM radio operator, known around the world as "N2JD". Joseph is survived by his spouse, Gloria D'Onofrio or Wayne, his children, Kriss D'Onofrio, Gloria Swan and Joseph P. D'Onofrio and his grandchildren, Christine Baldizzi, Michael D'Onofrio, Stephen D'Onofrio and Jaclyn D'Onofrio. He will be greatly missed by all. Visiting will be held December 1 from 10-12PM at Oakland Memorial Home. Funeral service at 11:20 AM with Pastor Matthew Battista officiating.
