Patrick Higgins of Oakland, NJ passed away at the age of 56 on October 10, 2018. A graduate of Indian Hills High School in Oakland, Patrick lived for a period of time in Livingston and Springfield but spent most of his life in Oakland. Patrick is survived by his mother Lillian, brother Michael and his wife Ann, brother Timothy and his wife Sally, a niece Sarah and a nephew Sean. He was predeceased by his father Michael. He earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. His successful professional career was spent in the sales field with several pharmaceutical companies. Patrick had a great love for music and he played the bass and guitar. Visitors will be received on Friday from 5:00-9:00 pm at Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ. Funeral mass will be Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 117 Franklin Ave., Oakland, NJ at 10:00 am. Entombment will be at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ.
