We would like to offer our condolences during this difficult time. Paul was always friendly & cheerful. We enjoyed seeing him & Comet on their walks & talking about our sports teams' successes & failures. Our dog Katie also liked to play with her friend Comet. They will both be missed by our family.

We were so sad to hear of this news. Although we never met Liz and Brian, Paul always bragged about you. We will miss seeing him and Comet walk past the house or stop for a visit. Hope someone is taking special care of Comet. I'm sure he's lost without his best friend. Our condolences to all of you.

I am sure I speak for all of Paul’s Regis classmates in expressing my condolences. Next year we will all raise a paper cup of beer at Yankee Stadium in memory to his days as a vendor there and all the good times we had.

Mr. Babish,
I regret that I never got to know you very well, particularly by going to a baseball game and seeing your legendary navigation skills of NYC. Your beautiful, brilliant children are a second family to me. My condolences to the entire Babish family during this time.
Love, Kate.

I'm sorry this happened, but I absolutely admire the man you became in the time I knew you. I remember your struggle (like mine), but I remember watching you commit to yourself, and truly succeeding. It was always such a blessing seeing you at the Sunday morning Oakland meeting. You were that one familiar face from outside the program, and as a newcomer, that was one of the safest things I held onto when I started my journey. You were always funny, and so in love with your family, asking about "[my] friend Liz" every single time I saw you. That's how I knew you cared so much, and you were a model of hope for what I would want my father to be one day. Watching you get it, it actually made me believe he could, too. What a gift. I will always keep you in my heart, Paul. Many blessing wherever you are.

Paul, you haven't spoken to me for 18 years, but you were my best friend, more like the brother that I never had, the best man at my wedding, and Godfather to my son Dean. I will always remember the good times, and there were many. My heart goes out to Elizabeth Ann, Bri, and the rest of your family. Rest in peace my friend.
