Obituary of Philip M. Lilley

Philip Murray Lilley, of Oakland, NJ entered the kingdom of heaven on Friday, May 25th surrounded by family. He was born to the late Homer and Anita Lilley on Aug 16, 1936, in Summit NJ. While growing up in Bloomfield, Philip graduated in 1955 from St Benedict High School of Newark. He attended Boston College and Seton Hall as an undergrad, and then spent over 20 years as an oil salesman. He wed to the late Pauline Nawrocki Lilley in 1970, and raised sons Michael and Andrew while residing in Palisades Park, NJ, until their move to Oakland in 1985. Later in life he starred in a documentary film 'I'll Knock a Homer for You'. Phil is survived by his sons Michael and Andrew, Michael's wife Jennifer, his grandchildren Ethan and Justin, Andrew's partner Arlene Segura, and Arlene's children Ryan and Aly.
