Please share a memory of Lesley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lesley Joan Grimm (August 14, 1950 - May 19, 2018) Lesley Joan Grimm, 67, of Oakland joined God's garden on Saturday, May 19, 2018 while surrounded by loved ones and resting peacefully at home. She was born in Birmingham, England and lived there until 1964. It was then that her parents, the late Douglas Smith and the late Joan Smith boarded the Queen Mary with Lesley and her two sisters - Jenifer and Vivienne on a voyage to the United States. The family settled in Ramsey, NJ where Lesley attended and graduated from Ramsey High School in 1969. After graduating, she met her husband - Richard (Dick) Grimm and they were married April 9, 1972. She is survived by Dick and their two children, Renee (Grimm) Axtell and Neil Grimm. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tristan and Keith Axtell and her sisters Jenifer and Vivienne, and their families. Over the years, Lesley brought love and laughter to the lives of many people. She lived for England - and the countryside where she grew up. She was honest, caring, and giving. She will be remembered here and across the ocean by family and friends who are grateful for the time that they had with Lesley Joan Grimm.
