Obituary of Rickard Mark Waterman

Rickard M Waterman, 63, of Oakland, NJ passed away peacefully at home Dec 23, 2017 of natural causes.

A beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, he adored all his family, spending time with them whenever he could. He loved the outdoors; whether camping, hiking, fishing, or just being outside on his front porch. In years past, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and would often go on a ride “just because”.  He more recently discovered an enjoyment for traveling, seeing sights across the US and Europe.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 34 years, Lee Ann, with whom he shared many adventures over the years. Together they raised 2 children, son Jim Morin and his wife AnneMary, and daughter Amy (Morin) Austin and her husband Daniel.  He adored his four grandchildren Lucas Morin, Chloe Austin, John Morin and Christopher Morin and cherished every moment he got to spend with them.

He is predeceased by his mother Mary Baylogh and father Richard Waterman, as well as sister Darlene Stanek. He leaves behind sisters, Cheryl Trabalka, Linda Williams, Robin Gibson and Renee Neville, as well as many, many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.

He will be greatly missed by all of the lives he touched.
