Nesta Sgro (nee Dante), age 94, of Oakland, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2012. She was the dearest Mother to Carmen Bickford and her husband Bill of Oakland, and Adele Agostinelli and her husband Roberto of Oakland. She was the most loving Grandmother (Nonna) to Anthony Bickford and his wife Carrie of Wayne, Andrea Knapp and her husband Bobby of Oakland, and Tara Reischel of Oakland. And, the most adoring Great-Grandmother to her great-grandchildren, Austin, Sarah, Olivia, Julia, Gavin, Isabella, and Amelia. She was predeceased by her siblings, Gino Dante, Kropetino Dante, and Eleanor Gaita. Nesta will always be remembered as the spirit and soul of our family, and for all the happiness and joy she brought to us all. Funeral Tuesday October 23, 2010 departing the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland at 11:30 Am for a 12 Noon Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church 117 Franklin Avenue Oakland. Entombment Garden of Memories Mausoleum Washington Township, New Jersey. Relatives and friends may visit at the Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 and 7- 9 PM
