Barry Wilson, 63, of Oakland, NJ, passed away on December 8, 2017. He was a devoted husband, loving father and adored grandfather. Barry enjoyed theater, concerts, museums, golf, traveling, nature, riding his motorcycle, reading, taking trips down the shore and most of all - spending time with his family. He was one of a kind, a true gentleman, a man of honor, integrity and strength. Barry was a man of his word and always accomplished what he set out to do. He held himself to the highest standard, making sure he always led by example and brought out the best in everyone. His family always came first and he would do anything to ensure their happiness and well-being.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Wilson, his soulmate and ultimate partner in 41 years of adventures. Together they created a beautiful family filled with love, joy and cherished memories. Barry was a devoted, caring father to his three daughters Kelly Bosgra and her husband Daniel; Lindsay Betz and her husband Carl; Kerrie Olsen and her husband Keith. He is a beloved grandfather of Carl Betz III, Liliana Betz, Calen Betz, Lakelyn Betz, Hannah Bosgra, Hailee Bosgra, and Luke Olsen.
The family is celebrating his life at the Oakland Memorial Home on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 4-8 PM. The funeral will be held at St. Mary’s Parish in Pompton Lakes, NJ on December 12, 2017 at 11am.
