Obituary of Lisa Sisti

Please share a memory of Lisa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lisa Sisti, of Oakland, New Jersey was truly one in a million. To know her was to love her. She entered eternal life on April 4, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lisa was born on December 17, 1966 in Paterson, New Jersey to her predeceased parents Nicholas and Dolores (nee Carrigan) Yacullo. Lisa graduated from Kennedy High School in Paterson, New Jersey and went on to have a long 30 year career with Verizon until her retirement in 2016. Lisa was passionate about life and loved entertaining family and friends. She was famous for her sausage and peppers and her mom’s potato salad. She always had a kind word and smile. She loved her flowers and enjoyed tending to them. Lisa was an amazing and proud mother to her one-and-only Alyssa and devoted and loving wife to her husband Donald. Lisa is survived by her siblings: Ronald and his wife Roseanna Van Valkenburg; Lori and her husband James Cody; Nicholas and his wife Lisa Yacullo; Kim and her husband Dan Mills; and Eric Yacullo. She also has many loving nieces, nephews, and god-children and always held a special bond with her cousin Al Carrigan and his wife Sue. She will truly be missed by her many friends who shared great and fun times with her. Until we meet again at the Tiki Bar in heaven, rest in peace. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to www.helpinglisa.com.
