Christian P. Taube, 42, of Oakland, NJ, passed away on March 10, 2017 in the Valley Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18th, at St. Mary's Church 17 Pompton Ave. Pompton Lakes, NJ with Father Richard Husted officiating. Visits will be held at The Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Rd on Friday, March 17th from 4-8pm. Christian P. Taube was born on March 21, 1974 in Wayne, NJ to his parents, Joachim and Geraldine Taube. He went to high school at Don Bosco Prep and graduated in 1992. From there, he earned an associate degree in HVAC from SUNY Troy, NY. He worked for his father's company, J.T and Son Inc. on and off since he was 13, and full time once he got his degree. After 19 years of working full time, he took over the family business in 2011. He had a passion for good food and a nice glass of wine. He would always be the first to tell you that he was the master of the grill. Christian loved spending time with his wife, watching their son Paul's lacrosse and soccer games, as well as watching wrestling and playing FIFA with his son, riding his quad, fishing, and swimming in the ocean when he was able to. Also, his love/hate relationship with the NY Jets was noted by anyone who knew him. Christian P. Taube is survived by his wife Yolanda, and son Paul, of Oakland, his parents, Joachim and Geraldine Taube and his sister, Nicole Esther. In lieu of flowers, donations are being made to Paul Taube for his education, and future needs.
