John George Nesta entered into eternal rest early Easter morning, April 20, 2025. John was born in Newark, NJ on February 8, 1938 to Nicholas Carmine Nesta and Rose Marmo Nesta. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Betty Le Bourt Nesta and his brothers Nicholas and Leonard Nesta. He is survived by his cherished daughter Jennifer Nesta, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a devoted family man and faithful Catholic, attending Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Oakland, New Jersey.

John had a long career as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer, earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, in Teaneck, New Jersey. His long career included posts as a Senior Electronic Engineer and Project Engineer for a variety of companies, such as Rudolph Technologies, and Pelco. He was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and served as a Staff Sargent in the New Jersey National Guard.

John was deeply committed to his family, made friends wherever he went, and was known as a savvy business man. The love he had for those near and dear will forever be held in the hearts of his daughter and remaining family. He will be deeply missed.
