Obituary of Linda Louise Curley

It is with sorrow and sadness that we announce Linda Louise Curley has passed away Saturday morning, April 19, 2025 in the comfort and care of her sons. Linda was predeceased by her mother Barbara Katherine Ruso, her father Edward R. Ruso, her sister Nancy Frances Ruso, and her husband Michael Henry Curley. She is survived by her sister Barbara Ann Anayannis, her brother E. Brian Ruso, and both of her sons Joseph Sylvester Curley and Michael Edward Curley, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Those fortunate enough to have met Linda know she had a knack for bringing people together. Everywhere she worked, Linda fostered a close group of friends - another loving family every time. Linda radiated kindness and compassion and joy, and those lifelong friendships brightened her life.

Linda lived her life fiercely: always onto her next adventure and admiring the natural beauty the world has to offer. Recently added to the family is a loving and protective rescue dog named Daffy, who was overjoyed to join the hikes and walks that Linda loved so much. She also enjoyed kayaking locally in Ringwood, exploring beautiful national parks across America, as well as relaxing and snorkeling in the Caribbean. When she was not traveling, Linda tended to her garden with her sons, cultivating native plants and admiring the birds and butterflies that made it their home.

The family will host a viewing on Thursday, April 24 from 1pm to 5pm as well as a memorial service on Friday, April 25 at 11am. Both services will be held at Oakland Memorial Home.
