Obituary of Patricia Ann Warren

Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Patricia Ann Warren (Broderick) on February 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Pat was born in the Bronx, New York to Mary and John Broderick on August 24, 1939. She graduated from St. Simon Stock High School in the Bronx, New York, in 1957.

Throughout her career, Pat excelled as an Office Manager at Baker Linen in Mahwah, New Jersey. However, her most fulfilling role was always caring for her family. Pat was happiest when preparing meals for loved ones. She had a passion for crafts, especially quilting, knitting, crocheting, and scrapbooking. Her quilting brought her immense joy, and she was a proud member of the Brownstone Quilters Guild, cherishing her time with the "material girls." Her family treasures her beautiful creations, from holiday table runners and ornaments to wall hangings and full-sized quilts.

Pat and Tom embarked on a new adventure in 1968 when they moved to Oakland, New Jersey. They laid the foundation for raising their family and quickly embraced the rural lifestyle. After Pat retired, she found joy in her weekly Mahjong games and cherished the time spent at the Oakland Senior Center.

When Pat and Tom relocated to The Vista in Wyckoff, New Jersey, Pat wasted no time joining the weekly Mahjong group and even participated in chair yoga classes. She genuinely loved to keep busy and made the most of her time in this new chapter of her life.

Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Thomas E. Warren, her children Thomas J. Warren (Sue), Michael E. Warren (Andrea), and Maryellen Hoffman (William), her sister Mary E. Reinhold (Michael), her grandchildren Andrew Warren (Billie), Katherine Bayiokos (Peter), Brianna Schweizer (Zac), Michale Warren (Ryan), Kelsey Warren (Kevin), Shawn Warren (Mercedes), Kevin Reinhold (Kirsten), Karyn Reinhold, and her great-grandchildren Liam, Conor, and Madeline. She was predeceased by her brother, John D. Broderick in 2006.

Visitation will be held at Oakland Memorial Home on Friday, February 21, from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 117 Franklin Avenue in Oakland, (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) followed by a burial at Mary Rest Cemetery in Mahwah.

Pat was a proud supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphomas Society (LLS) in support of her granddaughter Katie’s battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers and in her spirit of kindness and generosity, we invite you to donate below to Light the Night to honor her legacy in a meaningful way.
