Obituary for Joseph:

Joseph Patrick Marsala, known affectionately as Joe, passed away on November 11, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida, at the age of 89. Born on July 1, 1935, in Brooklyn, NY. Joe dedicated 46 years of his life as a member and representative of Local 3 of the United Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in New York City.

Joe was a beloved figure, known for his kindness, generosity, and a wonderful sense of humor. His commitment to his family was profound, embodying the role of a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Marsala; daughters, Josephine Tanzi and Diane Gaffney; son, Hon. William E. Marsala; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Corrieri Marsala; son-in-law, Gary Gaffney; and grandsons, Steven Tanzi, Joseph Tanzi, and William Edward Marsala. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Marsala and Josephine Di Giovanni Marsala; brothers, Benjamin and Nicholas Marsala; and sister, Vitina Marsala.

An avid sports fan, Joe enjoyed watching the New York Rangers and the New York Yankees. His hobbies also included playing golf, and savoring fine cigars and single malt scotch, which brought him much joy and relaxation.
