Donald George DiPace, 93, formerly of Wanaque, NJ, Millstone, NJ, and Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his daughters, on January 13, 2025, in Pompton Plains, NJ.

Donald was born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 6, 1931, to Vito Rocco DiPace and Felicetta DiPace (nee Remoli). He spent much of his early life in Brooklyn, where he attended high school and lived for nearly 35 years.

Donald worked for IBM for 41 years, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

He is survived by his three daughters, Deana and her husband Patrick Noctor, Danata and her husband Daniel Leenas, and Dawn and her husband Timothy Powers. He was a devoted grandfather to five grandchildren, Danica and her husband Ryan, Daniel, Daphne, Aidan, and Kearsten, and a great-grandfather to Trevor and Lyla.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Petrina L. DiPace; his daughter, Dona M. DiPace; his parents, Vito Rocco DiPace and Felicetta DiPace (nee Remoli); and his siblings, Dolly, Nancy, Joan, and Gene.

A wake in honor of Donald will be held at Oakland Memorial Home, Oakland, NJ, on Friday, January 17, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service will take place at Oakland Memorial Home, Oakland, NJ, on Saturday, January 18, at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Christ The King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wanaque First Aid Squad or the West Milford Animal Shelter.
