Giovanna "Gina" Granato, 88, on Friday, July 26, 2024. Born September 15, 1935 in Baucina, Sicily Italy. Formerly of Wanaque NJ and Coconut Creek FL. She married her beloved husband Salvatore on April 1, 1956. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children, Mary Cracco and (Salvatore) and the late Jerome Granato (Sarah). She loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Sal, her parents and her siblings Rosalie (Liberto) Granato , Vincenzo Granato, Michael Granato (Rose), Joseph Granato (Vitina), Rosa Bivona (Sal), Josephine Labarbera (Tony), Sara Liberto and Fortunata Liberto. She adored her grandchildren Janelle Mandas (Christopher) and Michael Cracco (Nicole Amoresano). Her greatest joy was her great grandchildren, Capri and Callie Mandas. She adored all of her neices and nephews. Special thanks to Gina's care team at Sunrise of Wayne. 

Visiting Monday 6-8 PM at Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ. Funeral Liturgy Tuesday 10AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 117 Franklin Ave, Oakland NJ. Entombment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's of New Jersey 425 Eagle Rock Avenue suite 203 Roseland, NJ 07068.
