Please share a memory of Gloria to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Gloria Dorothy D’Onofrio, 96, recently living in Sarasota, FL, formerly a 66 year resident of  Wayne, NJ, went home to be with our Lord on June 14, 2024.

Gloria was born to Philip and Stella Swantner on March 10, 1928 in Washington, D.C. She graduated high school, moved to Yonkers, NY and there met and married our Dad after WWII. She was a “stay at home Mom” of 4 children and ran the home. Later she worked at NJ Bank as Head Teller and then Singer Kearfott. She helped charities out, took in stray animals, always giving them a home, too! She loved her husband and her children very much. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Gloria is survived by her 2 children, Kriss Donofrio of Wayne and and Joseph D’Onofrio of Sarasota, FL, her grandchildren Christine, Michael, Stephen and Jaclyn. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 yrs. Joseph, her children Lynn Kruk and Gloria Swan and her grandchild David D’Onofrio.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at The Oakland Memorial Home, 10- 11:30 AM with a memorial service at 11:30 AM. She will be interred next to her beloved husband at Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
