Vrindten, Joseph of Highland Lakes, NJ passed away at his home on November 20th. Joseph was born in Stamford Connecticut and raised in Oakland, New Jersey. Joseph was a loving husband to his wife Erin and a truly devoted father to his twin daughters, Amanda and Brittany. A loving son to Joseph and Patricia, a brother of James, Robert (deceased), Mary Vrindten-Beckert and her husband Mark. A caring Uncle to Bradley, Christopher, Grace, Ryan and Kiera. Joe graduated from Don Bosco Prep and William Paterson University where he received his degree in Business Administration. He worked as a Financial Advisor for Prudential for 29 years and was a member of the LUTCF, CLTC and Ridgewood Business Connections. He also spent many years as a coach for Vernon Youth Soccer League and the Vernon PAL Softball League. Joe was a traditionalist and his family was always first and foremost. He will be missed but his legacy of being a family man in the truest sense will not be forgotten. A viewing will be held at the Oakland Memorial Home. 330 Ramapo Valley Road. Oakland. NJ on Friday November 25 from 2-4 pm and 7.9 pm. A funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday November 26 at St. Mary's Church 17 Pompton Ave. Pompton Lakes, NJ at 10 am. Followed by am Burial at Maryrest Cemetery Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
