Dear Sal:
We will miss you very much. Our winters in Florida will never be the same without you.
Getting together, Barbeques, going to the beach, sharing stories, and laughing about old times will no longer take place.
Most of all, we will miss you in Wynmoor and the "cusciannu" we used to do at a moments notice.
Whether we went shopping, visiting friends and family, going out sight seeing, or for Chineese Food, we always had a good
time together. We will remember the many stories that we shared.
Arrivederci, Susan and Dominic

I have so many wonderful memories of you all when we visited for Mary’s wedding. Your lavish home, delicious home cooked meals, venturing out to Manhattan and other fond memories as well when you came to Toronto various times. Always happy, always smiling, always so generous. May God welcome you into His arms and give aunt Gina, Mary and her family strength and comfort.

Dear Mary. I am so sad to hear about uncle Sal’s passing. Although many years have passed since I last saw him and aunt Gina, I still have such warm memories of him. He was a ray of sunshine - always smiling, always kind and always so generous. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. All my love, cousin Rose.

We will always keep our uncle Sal in our hearts. We didn’t spend enough time together but we treasure the family gatherings we did share. Thanksgivings in New Jersey and Deer Park when we were growing up and most recently in our backyard and all the countless occasions in between. When he smiled his whole face lit up, even his eyes smiled. The photo is one of the last times we spent with uncle Sal and aunt Gina and it was a joy to see how happy he was to be with us. We will miss that smile.
Love and prayers from ‘

Another important piece of my youth has gone away, a respectable person from other times, a great friend, my friend Sal Granato, cousin of Joseph Granato, I met him in September 1990 and immediately sensed his great human depth.
For him as for me, friendship was and is a sacred thing based on loyalty and mutual respect.
Dear Sal, unfortunately Alzheimer's took you away from me for a few years, I missed our long phone calls.
Now your suffering is over, say hello to Joe and my father.
R.I.P. dear Sal!
