Henry " Hank" J. Corsale born on February 1, 1928, in Passaic, NJ, entered eternal rest on August 26,2023 at Chilton Medical Center in Pequannock, NJ. With his beloved wife, Jean, he raised 5 children, first in Paterson and then from 1962 in Franklin Lakes, NJ. He served honorably in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Hank spent his entire career in the elevator industry with Otis Elevator, rising from an office clerk to Sales Manager. He retired after 48 years. As important as his Otis career was to him, he was even more dedicated to coaching 7th and 8th grade boys’ basketball at Most Blessed Sacrament Church (MBS) where he was a member of long standing. In 2013, after serving 50 years as a boys coach, MBS named the gym “Hank Corsale Court”, an honor of which he was very proud.

In addition to coaching, Hank loved serving others and volunteered for a variety of organizations. Over the years, he took great joy in taking on the role of Santa at the annual MBS breakfast with Santa. He was a founding member of the MBS Breakfast Club where he shopped, cooked, and served breakfast after Sunday Mass, and at Eva’s Kitchen where he fed the hungry in Paterson. He also loved to perform in the FLOW Follies and later at the Wanaque Reserve Drama Club. He was a proud bocce player at Wanaque Reserve.

Hank was the beloved husband for 61 years of Jean Egan Corsale until her death in 2012. He was the devoted father of Kathleen and her husband Kenneth D’Appolonia, Thomas J Corsale and his wife, Mary Sue, Lorraine and her husband, Nathaniel Clymer, John H. Corsale, and Christopher E. Corsale. He was adored grandfather of Steven Corsale and his wife Christina, Nicholas D’Appolonia, Francesca D’Appolonia, Jack Biedrzycki, Cole Biedrzycki and Amelia Biedrzycki, their father, John Biedrzycki and great grandfather of Parker, Jamison and Roman D’Appolonia, Luciana and
