Thomas J Santucci, 87 of Oakland, NJ, died on July 6, 2023. Thomas was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. He was the adoring son of Antonette and Nicola Santucci and dedicated brother to Almerico Santucci.

 

Thomas spent many years as a dedicated employee for Kearfott and played a role in designing parts for  Apollo 11.  Not only known for his generosity but also for his quick wit and ability to bring a smile to anyone that had the pleasure of being around him.  He loved watching the Yankees and the Giants and could be found in his office listening to the game on his radio or listening to Andrea Bocelli.

 

Thomas was a great and dedicated father to his daughter Carol. Lovingly known to many as “Tooch”, Thomas’ most cherished nickname was “Pop Pop” to his two granddaughters he loved with all his heart.

 

Thomas is predeceased by his wife Joan, who he loved and cared for till her passing in 2014. He was a loving and dedicated husband to Joan and spent many years caring for her.

 

Thomas is survived by is beloved daughter Carol Moran of Cape Cod, granddaughter Victoria Moran and her fiancé Timothy Fountaine of Cape Cod, granddaughter Allie Moran of Raleigh, North Carolina, great grandson Matthew Fountaine, son in law Joe Moran, and niece Susan Garbowski.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 11th at 10am at Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ 07436, followed by burial at Christ the King Cemetery, 980 Huron Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. The family will receive relatives and friends on July 11th from 10-12.
