Obituary of Steven F. Ohle

Steven Francis Ohle, 71, of Franklin Lakes, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He is survived by his loving family: wife of forty five years, Theresa Ann Ohle; children, Kathleen and husband Michael DeRosa, Steven and wife Caitlin Ohle, Elizabeth and husband Scott Brezinski, Patricia and husband Thomas Green, and Theresa and husband Christopher Gervais; and his eleven grandchildren, Edward Chase Brezinski (9), Graham Robert Ohle (8), Finbar Steven Green (8), Grace Theresa Brezinski (8), Nora Kate Ohle (6), Addison Elizabeth DeRosa (5), Amelia Grace DeRosa (4), Caroline Shea Ohle (3), Henry Douglas Brezinski (3), Sawyer Elizabeth Green (3), James Francis Gervais (5 months); and his three brothers, John Ohle and his wife Marie, Richard Ohle and his wife Bianca, and Thomas Ohle.  Steven was predeceased by his parents William and Mary (nee Garrett) Ohle, his brother William Ohle, and his sister Maureen Rainey and her husband William.  Although Steven could not enjoy many of his hobbies during much of his later life, we are certain he is again enjoying fishing, hunting and gardening. Steven’s greatest joy was spending time with his loving family. 

The family will welcome visitation to be held at Oakland Memorial Funeral Home on April 26, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Oakland on Thursday, April 27, at 10:00 a.m. with burial at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes immediately following.
