Mrs.Fleisch is our American Mom. Loving, generous, kind hearted lady. My son Kevin was 2 days old when Mrs. Fleisch welcomed us to her home. Our family will never forget her kindness she has afforded us. We will miss her dearly. Sending love and prayers .

Coming from a foreign country and landing on our first US job was a huge and challenging endeavor to most of us. Mrs. Fleisch as well known to all the Filipino nurses at Oakland Care Center was one of the most dedicated and loving person, who made the transition quite easier. She was my excellent coach and mentor when I started working at OCC. Her remarkable hospitality would outpour every time she invited us to her house; then we became her “extended family”. We all became her children and our children became her grandchildren. She was amongst the strongest moral and emotional support to me and my family, especially when I had a premature baby, and when the time Raechel Grace passed away, Mrs. Fleisch and Mrs. Young helped me get through the pain and sorrow. When my first son (Rayneil) was born in New Jersey, she was the one who talked to and arranged with a priest to get him baptized before we moved in Virginia. She even gave a name to my second son (Raymond). She was present when all my kids were baptized. We will be forever grateful for everything she did to us. “You’re gone, but will never be forgotten. We will miss you! Rest in eternal peace, our friend”.
With much love,
Rey and Gloria

I loved working with Mary at OCC and delighted in our non-work visits to chat. Such a pure snd loving person who had compassion for everyone. For sure, our Mary Fleisch will be ministering to the heavenly souls she meets. May God bless Mary; I send my sincere condolences to her family.

Mrs Fleisch was a part of our family here in the US. She was there to support me when I delivered my baby, Pamela Rose while I was working as a nurse at Oakland Care Center. From celebrating baptisms and birthday to Sr. Pamela’s journey in the convent, she was present through it all. Her love and care for us remains in our hearts. Rest in peace & thank you for everything. Our heartfelt condolences to Patty, Robert, William, John, and family. Sending our love and prayers. - From Suresca Family

In December of 1983, a group of young Filipino nurses migrated to the US to work for a Skilled Nursing Facility in NJ. Ms. Mary Fleisch was one of the nurses who welcomed us warmheartedly. She became one of our mentors and a friend in the process. Thank you for your kindness, encouragement and friendship. May your soul rest in eternal peace.
