My deepest sympathies to George and the entire Vallone Family.
I first met George when I ushered at OLPH with Bernard, Pete & Pete Jr.
Later, he helped me with other members proudly join the K of C (some 45 +years ago).
He was one of the few who came to our home when my dad passed, and along with LiMing Kuhn check on my mom.
My last visit with George was when he was in Oakland Rehab.
I’ll miss his calmness supporting voice, and warm smile.
I’m sure, he’s not far, but lives with our hearts and minds, he’s in the warm summer breeze and the light whisper of the wind. Always a loving Family Man watching, smiling and helping if you listen!
With deepest sympathies to my fellow Brothers Family,
Joseph & Rose Alu
Groton, Ct.

I worked with George at AIG, I was the claims Manager at Lexington Insurance Co. in Boston, part of AIG. He was a mentor to me, he was very seasoned claims/legal leader, and one of the best negotiators I ever worked with, I learned much from him. We would banter about the Yankees and Red Sox with our mutual AIG friend Ron Ryan. He encouraged me to go to law school, which I did, and I've had my on firm in Boston for 30 years. George was a born leader, a gentleman with a great sense of humor. He was a great family man and american. Thanks for your wistom George, god bless, and go sox!, Atty. Ken Lakin

Thanks Ken for sharing this. I do remember my dad speaking of you. He did develop quite a reputation at AIG and his love for negotiations never faded. He was proud to share stories of his most complicated cases and retained details even in his 90s. Thanks for taking the time to post this

Dear Marilyn and family-
My sincere condolences on the loss of George. He was a wonderful man, known and remembered fondly by many. I, for one, will not forget him for the fun times we had when the school was still in existence, for the time he mistakenly told you I was dying and then you saw me in church the next day, and for all the various conversations we had over the years about lectoring and being an EM.
I’m very sorry I won't be in a position to get to the funeral mass, but you know that my prayers are with you all.
Rose Maude
