Ralph Yezza Sr., 79 of Mahwah, NJ, passed away, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Valley Hospital. Ralph, son of Joseph & Susan Yezza, was born on February 16, 1943 in Campobasso, Italy and was a longtime resident of Oakland, NJ. Ralph was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Katherine of 50 years in 2017 and could be found having coffee while visiting her with her most days at Christ the King Cemetery since her departure. He was most happy when surrounded by his 7 grandkids, pulling slot handles in Atlantic City, or watching Yankee baseball. He was also a regular at all the grandkids sporting events and truly was a “Rockstar” no matter where he went. Ralph was adored by his 3 children Julianne Durant (Peter), Joseph (Beth Ann), and Ralph Jr, and beloved grandchildren Maggie, Mollie, Harry, Kellie, Ava, Trot and Elle. He also leaves behind two sisters, Adele Randazzo (Frank) and Ida Campanaro as well as brother and sister in-law Frank and Teresa Tedesco. Wake services will be held at the Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Rd., Oakland, NJ 07436 on Wednesday, March 2nd from 4pm – 8pm. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 117 Franklin Avenue, Oakland, NJ 07436 on Thursday, March 3rd at 9:30am. Burial will be in Christ the King Cemetery Franklin Lakes, NJ.
