To the family of Angelo:
My best friend was Pat (Pasquale) Chiusano, and my wife and I visited Pat and Marilyn a while back; we had a great visit, saw Merle Haggard in concert, golfed, and went to civil war battlefields. I kick myself for not attending his funeral..... A fond memory is my visits on Sundays to the Chiusano household in Englewood. Angelo was there, and I remember the 3 hour dinners and lots of food (Italians know how to eat!) I am sorry to hear of Angelos passing, but know all Chiusanos are in a better place and back with their loved ones.... I am 80 years young, and look forward to seeing my parents and others who have "graduated"......... The Chiusanos are a great family and have done and still do many good things in their lives. the thing about Italians I love most is that they either love you or hate you; there is no.middle ground; every other nationality jerks you around, and you do not know where you stand.
God bless you all in this time of sorrow...
Sincerely,
Cutler L. Brown, Hooksett, NH

To Scott & the Chiusano family,
The first thing Angelo told me is I had the same name as his infant daughter Linda who passed. I met him for the first time at Oakland's town council meetings & became fast friends which lasted for 30 years. He cared very deeply about our town issues and made his voice heard in council chambers and on TV and also at the Planning Board! We both joined the Public Events committee and volunteered at the Carnival for many years and worked in the game booths, Halloween parade and Easter Egg Hunts events for the kids. He was with YES and cared about our town environment and would pick up the trash with the group to keep Oakland clean. Angelo loved going to the Memorial Day parades and BBQ at the American Legion, the Veteran's ceremony every Nov 11th and was a very proud Navy Veteran as my Dad!
We had a lot in common with different aspects of our Aviation careers, his in the Navy as my Dad, mine with TWA airlines, his weeks trip alone to Italy to visit sites and his long lost family! We would talk and laugh on the phone and for hours in the Spring/Summer sitting on a bench somewhere downtown. But most of all I would Love his singing and he would serenade me with his Great voice! He also sang and entertained the women at the Senior Center. Angelo was a very interesting, kind hearted and gentle man who loved Ann and his family very deeply. Spoke very highly of his children/grandchildren and was very proud of them all. It was nice to meet many of them yesterday, Diane and especially his twins Mark and Wayne who are my age, and Scott I know for years!
You're reunited with now Ann after 8 years at Ponds. Missed you these pass seven months in the Care Center but until we meet again somewhere over the Rainbow I will think of you when I see one and Smile! RIP my friend and sing with the Choir of Angels in Heaven and Rejoice.

Angie was my wonderful next door neighbor. He always provided an ear and we chatted and laughed a lot. He helped my son Matt build a pinewood derby car for the Boy Scouts which won second place. He will be missed and forever in my heart.

Angelo retired the year I became Mayor and he was always front and center at Council meetings. We often talked about Borough issues and he always offered sound advice. Over the years I would see him in town or at Memorial Day services and he would spontaneously break into a song for me. So caring and sincere, Angelo will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Sincere condolences to his family.

I loved Angelo. He would join my Zumba class and dance along with us and at the end, he always sang, "My Sweet Embraceable You". His voice was amazing.
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of this very special man.
