My dear friend, Alexis,
The story you shared with me after spending time with your dad the evening before he passed makes me teary every time it comes to mind.
You were able to hear his wonderful words of love and respect for you…play the tango music he loved…share some of his favorite Argentinian foods with him…invite a priest in to give him blessings….and have him tightly hold your hand in his.
You were able to share a good bye that every child could only hope for. As Sabrina at Madam Marie’s said, ‘he will love and protect you forever’.
Rest In Peace, Senor Dacal.
