I am deeply saddened to learn today of Chris's passing. I was a customer of his for several years, and he always met everyone with a smile, and good humor. He was extremely honest and his work impeccable. Chris helped out my mother when her car was hit, and it turned out his father and my mother knew each other from high school. I agree with others - Chris was an angel on earth and he is genuinely missed by many.

I was so so sorry to learn about Chris's passing today. I've been a customer of his for 10+ years. He had a wonderful sense of humor and that sparkle in his eye that made me enjoy my visits, even to fix annoying car dents and dings, etc. He will truly be missed. My deepest sympathies to his beautiful family. The photo memorial was just wonderful.

I just learned of this tragic news today and was instantly filled with sorrow. To his family ~ I send my sincerest condolences. <3 Chris had been a friend, a neighbor and a phenomenal mechanic to me and my family for many, many years. We always shared in the stories of our families and the children growing up. His values of kindness will always live within all of us that will keep him close to our hearts. May his family find some comfort of healing in the kind words that are spoken of him. An angel amongst us.

We are so sad to learn of Chris' passing. Chris was an earnestly honest person. His professionalism and great care were his greatest virtues in his business. As noted in other tributes, I too, had many great conversations with him. What a great guy. Our deepest condolences to the family. We all lost a great person.

I met Chris and became his customer because I drove past his shop and was impressed by the beautiful work I saw. He did beautiful work on my cars and always had time to chat. I used to kid him that I thought you had to be named Wolfgang to paint Porsches but you didn't - his work was always outstanding. I am shocked and saddened by his loss.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the whole Walker family on Christopher's truly untimely passing.
I grew up three houses down the road from Chris, in Ringwood. Chris was a naturally friendly and nice kid. As we transitioned into our teens, we both took up running. Despite Chris being younger than me, he was mentally tougher than me and pushed himself harder. His being that way helped me to learn to push myself harder - and thus to grow up a bit more. Of course, even after Chris came into his own as a respectable young man, he remained just as nice and kind.

Tex and Linda, I am so sad for you and family. As you know I lost my son 26 years ago and I know the pain you will experience. Please turn to the Bible and read Roman 8:28. It will comfort you knowing that God had a plan for Chris.Please remember, the lose and hurt will not go away, but, let God and the Holy Spirit comfort you during those times you will shed many tears.l It will help you if you will always talk about Chris when your heart tells you to.
