Please share a memory of Marilyn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On July 21, 2021, Marilyn Beatrice Curie Salvadori passed away peacefully at age 89 after a brief but tough battle with pancreatic cancer. Marilyn was born in Paterson, NJ May 15, 1932 and called Oakland, NJ her home for 64 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Henry Salvadori of 49 years. Marilyn is survived by her loving family; daughters Donna Roberts and Karen Adams her husband Doug Adams. Her grandchildren Erin Munson her husband Lee Munson, Shannon Weir her husband Chris Weir, Maggie Edwards her husband Tommy Edwards, Kevin Roberts and his girlfriend Nikki Ferro. Her great granddaughter Laina Weir lovingly called her Gramma Bea. She is also survived by her older sister Joan Tracy and her family. Our Mom was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She always took the time to show us love from daily phone calls, to birthday cards, carefully chosen on-point Christmas ornaments and Sunday dinners. She was an avid knitter and made the most beautiful sweaters, blankets, hats, scarves and Christmas stockings that will be treasured forever. She was a skilled piano player and some of our most cherished memories of times standing around the piano in the "Black Whale Inn" singing and dancing to her tunes. The many dear friends and neighbors mom had made throughout her life were a blessing to her and to her family as well. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the amazing hospice team at Valley Home Care, Inc., 15 Essex Road, Suite #301, Paramus, NJ 07652. www.ValleyHealth.com or Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. 2 Shelter Ln, Oakland, NJ 07436 would be appreciated A memorial service will be held at the Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ on August 12th 2021, 4:00 to 7:00pm
