Jane Mary Casazza,66, of Wyckoff, NJ passed away on November 20th 2020.
Jane was born in Mineola, NY to Howard Remsen Lamberson Jr. and Mary Lamberson on May 8th 1954. She graduated from Lakeland High School in Wanaque, NJ in 1972. She went on to earn a degree in teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1976. Jane began her career at IBM, working as a secretary for 7 years before moving on to be a devoted, loving mother and homemaker to her children Melissa and Michael. Jane served as the Secretary at Ponds Reformed Church from January 1996 until the present.
Jane is survived by Melissa Christine Casazza-Morse, daughter, Dumont NJ, and her husband Greg Morse, Michael Louis Casazza, son, Wyckoff NJ, and his fiancé Elizabeth Roberts. She was a devoted grandmother to Gemma Audrey Morse. She is survived by James Remsen Lamberson, brother, Colorado Springs CO. She is also survived by beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cherished friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Mary Lamberson and her sister-in-law Sara Lamberson.
Jane had a great sense of humor, her smile filled the room and her laughter was contagious. She enjoyed bowling, monthly bunco nights with friends, and beach trips. She was an avid reader, she was fond of crossword puzzles and she had a love for music. Jane was a dedicated member of Ponds Reformed Church in Oakland NJ since her teenage days and her love of the church was abundant. She was involved in numerous church activities such as choir, bell choir, women’s guild plus many other events and charities. She adored being a grandmother and her family was her world.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Untch, his team, Dr. Kelly, her team and all the staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
The Funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 17th 2021 at 4pm at Ponds Reformed Church, 341 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ 07436. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Ponds Reformed Church or Memorial Sloan Kettering.
