Obituary of James Arthur Vandertulip

James Arthur Vandertulip (November 4, 1959- September 2, 2020) A loving soulmate to Shirin, a caring son to Beatrice, Donald and to his Mother-in-law Iran, an ever present father to Amanda (father-in-law to Lakshman) and Pete (father-in-law to Rachel), a wonderful stepfather to Chris and his wife Kim, a beautiful grandfather to Scarlett and Peter James, a constant friend to his sisters Cindy (brother-in-law to Larry) and Amy (preceded in death by brother-in-law Roland), a loving and caring uncle to his many nieces and nephews and a solid friend to Fred, Christine, Steve, Terry, Anthony and many many more ... James was a true friend to all. He has been called home and has joined the angels peacefully on September 2nd, 2020. His family, the Vandertulips and the Pourshariatis are inviting friends and family to celebrate his life at the Oakland Memorial Home on Tuesday, September 8 from 4-8pm. Funeral service will be held at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa on Wednesday, September 9 at 2pm.
