Grace Cronk, 94, of Oakland, NJ passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Saturday, February 8th, 2020. She was born February 16th, 1925 to Jacobus (Coby) Jacobs and Grace Hopper Jacobs of Wycoff, NJ. Grace was one of six children. Grace spent the majority of her life raising her family in Oakland. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a fabulous cook and baker. She loved gardening and crafting. Grace was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 73 years, Elmer Cronk and her grandson, Richard Hanratty. Grace is survived by her children, Irene Cronk Hanratty of Vernon, NJ, Bruce Cronk (Nancy) of Lees Summit, MO. and Chuck Cronk (Melissa) of Fletcher, NC. Grace loved and cherished her 7 grandchildren, Chris Cronk (Caroline), Chad Cronk (Chasity), Mick Cronk (Heather), Suzanne Aschoff (Tom), Amy Belzile (Mark), Chas Cronk and Cassie Cronk. She also has 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oakland Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 10:00 AM followed by interment at Ponds Church Cemetery.
