Obituary of Jared Spingler

Please share a memory of Jared to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with a heavy heart we announce Jared Timothy Spingler, age 37, of Oakland, NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019. A devoted son, father, friend and brother, Jared enjoyed spending time with close friends and family, but most importantly with his son, Liam. A graduate of William Paterson University, Jared was the energy in the room the moment he walked in. He was everyone’s best friend within 30 minutes of meeting them and had a personality way too big for any one individual. Jared enjoyed life to the fullest, was an avid basketball player, enjoyed fishing with his father, and taking Liam, and his dog Georgia for hikes in the Ramapo mountains, but nothing brought him more joy than simply being with friends and family to laugh and share stories with. Jared leaves behind his son, Liam, his parents, Tom & Karyn, his brother Justin and sister-in-law Nikole, as well as his many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Jared will be remembered by his ex-wife Jessica, mother & father-in-law, Kathy and Mike McKeever, brothers & sisters-in-law, Kevin & Jackie Sheridan, Michael & Ali McKeever, and Chris & Caitlin Loomis. Jared will be missed by all who loved him. Visitation will be held at Oakland Memorial on Saturday, 1/11/20 from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to After The Glow (LovefromLiam), an organization started for his son, and that which was near and dear to his heart. https://www.aftertheglow.org/
