Joseph Morgan White, age 51, of Oakland, NJ, died peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2019. A devoted friend and brother, Joe enjoyed spending time with close friends and family. A graduate of New England College in New Hampshire, Joe was an avid hockey player. He enjoyed mountain biking, snowboarding, and the New York Rangers. Joe was a devoted father. He loved watching his son, Trevor play hockey from kindergarten through college. Nothing brought him more joy than his children. Joe is preceded in death by his son, Shawn, his father, Thomas, his brother, Thomas, and his nephew, Max. He leaves behind his wife, Allison Barney White, his beloved children, Trevor and Baylee, his mother, Janice, his brothers, Tim (Inge,) Jim (Betsey,) John (Nancy,) and his sister, Kathy Marshall (Tom.) Joe will be remembered by his father-in-law, Donald Barney, brothers-in-law, Donald (Kerry,) Mark, (Dana,) and sisters-in-law, Kate Butler (Jason,) and Kerry Eckert. He is survived by 27 loving nieces and nephews. Joe will be missed by all who loved him. Visitation at Oakland Memorial Home on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 3:00-7:00 pm. Funeral service on Saturday, 11:30AM December 28, 2019, www.oaklandmemorial.com In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to: Spiritoftheseason.org (to benefit the James and Mary White Unit for the Care of People With Huntington’s Disease at the Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center.)
