My most sincere condolences to the family.
I did not know Mr. Pfeiffer, or any family member, but a friend sent me the link to the obituary because he noticed the mention of the Hawthorne Caballeros.
I grew up in Hawthorne, and my father was the drum major of the "Cabs" from 1956-1967. One of my sisters and I currently march with the Caballeros Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps. For the corps to be mentioned like this is special and I wanted to acknowledge it.
It is obvious that Mr. Pfeiffer was a special man, and I hope that all the memories he made with you over the years give you comfort now and in the future.
I thank him for his service in Vietnam, and for continuing to serve his community as a firefighter.
Rest in Peace, Thank You, and Welcome Home, Mr. Pfeiffer.
