Obituary of Mark Pierce
Please share a memory of Mark to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mark Lee Pierce, resident of Ringwood, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the age of 51. He is survived by his adoring wife of 29 years, Veronica Ferragine Pierce. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his daughter Rebecca, his two sons Matthew and Stephen, and his father, Harold Pierce.
Mark was born on April 16, 1967 in Olean, New York to Harold and Mary Joan Walker-Pierce. He studied at the University of Buffalo in New York where he earned his degree in Cartography.
In addition to his rewarding career in IT, Mark loved to spend time with his family. He would never miss the opportunity to attend one of his children’s sporting events. Throughout the years, he was a familiar face on and off the field. He was known for coaching, volunteering, and cheering on the sidelines. It was clear to everyone around that Mark’s children were his whole world. Mark also enjoyed helping people whenever he could. He was known as “The Handy Man” to all of his friends. If you had an at-home project, he could help you fix it. He found true joy in lending a helping hand to anyone in need.
Anyone who met Mark knew how passionate, intelligent, and easygoing he was. Mark will forever be remembered as an extremely dedicated father, loving husband, and great friend.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The New Pathway Counseling Scholarship Fund (https://newpathway.com/) in memory of Mark Pierce.
