Obituary of Janet DeCesare

DeCesare, Janet on January 17, 2016 of Barnegat, NJ, formerly of Upper Saddle River, NJ. Devoted wife of the late Larry DeCesare. Loving mother of Denise Nicolosi of Oakland and Joan Swartz and husband Kenneth of Brooklyn, CT. Adored grandmother of Jessica, Matthew, Suzanne, Michael, Christopher and Kristen. Proud great-grandmother of Blythe, Rosie, Natalia and Bennett. Dear sister of the late Michael Panzera and the late Lena Farina. Cherished aunt to six nieces and two nephews. Janet will be remembered for her devotion to family and home. She was known as a skillful Italian cook and a faithful friend. She enjoyed reading, shopping, dominoes, and time with relatives and friends. The family would especially like to recognize her devoted caregivers, Mary, Simone, Mimi, Diana and Gina and supportive neighbors Kathy, Jerry, Doreen and Bob. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20 from 3-7 pm at Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 21 at 10:30 am at The Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 787 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes.(Please arrive at the church by 10:15AM) Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
