Obituary of Vincent R Carabello

Vincenzo (Vincent) Carabello passed peacefully on March 10, 2015 at the Valley Hospital. Born in Paterson, NJ and a long-time resident of Oakland New Jersey. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. Vincent retired from the Teamsters Local 560 – and worked for the NJSEA as the Teamsters Shop Stewart. He was a devoted father and husband to his loving wife Agnes Carabello died in 2000 and his son Vincent (Vinee) in 1989. He is survived by his daughter Tina Marie Spadafino, her husband Michael, his son Ronald (Ronnie) Carabello, Granddaughter Dana Marie DiBenedetto and her husband Daniel, Great Grandchildren Mason, Grace and Guiliana, his niece Lisa Guzzo Hall and Dave Hall, Nephews Nick, Anthony and Matt Hall, Nieces and Nephew Diana, Toni Ann and Anthony Carabello, Sister In Laws Tina Guzzo, Joan Carabello and Frances Carabello and a brother in law Larry Romanelli. Vincent enjoyed telling stories that would make the whole room laugh, riding his Harley and spending time with his son’s pet Sadie and her brother Miles. He had many loving and special people that touched his life including Gabbi Fraccola and Christine Castellano. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated. Visiting hours are from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00, Thursday March 12, 2015. Funeral services Friday, March 13, 2015 at 9:30 AM at the Oakland Memorial Home.
