'Doc' was one of the good guys. I knew him from his first day on the job. Always upbeat, Doc could definitely be counted on to spread some cheer when it was sorely needed. Finding a nugget of humor even in ugly situations, Doc's sometimes raw jokes would put the smile back on my grumpy face. He didn't look to hurt anyone, and instead turned his massive personality to better our little part of the world. I miss him.
