Eric C. Scott, 28 of Oakland passed away on April 25, 2016. Predeceased by his loving mother Doreen M. Scott (nee Reynolds), his cherished brother Jeffrey, his grandmother Betty Scott (nee Wingard) and both grandfathers, John D. Scott and William Reynolds. Eric is survived by his father Michael Scott, his brother Shaun Scott, his grandmother Bianca Reynolds and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Eric was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Those who knew Eric will remember him as someone who loved animals, especially Kody and Abby, The Mets and Jets, music and fast cars among many other things. He was an excellent mechanic and carpenter and often went out of his way to help his loved ones with these skills. Eric's greatest attribute was his generosity. His final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. There will be a viewing at the Oakland Memorial Home on Friday April 29th from 6-8pm directly followed by a service. On Saturday April 30th a burial will be held at 10am at Christ the King Cemetery everyone please meet at the cemetery located at 980 Huron Rd Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417.
