Edward J. Angstadt 52, of White Plains, New York passed away on July 15, 2012. Born March 30, 1960 in Reading, Pennsylvania, Edward lived in Oakland, New Jersey before moving to Westchester County, New York to pursue his Masters in Education at Kings College, Briarcliff Manor, New York and Hunter College, Manhattan, New York. For almost twenty five years, Edward taught High School English and Literature in the New York City School system. Settling mostly in the South Bronx area. Acting as both mentor and friend, Edward received much admiration from both his students and peers. Edward is survived by his beloved parents: Edward and Angela Angstadt of Red Bank, New Jersey; loving brother of Christian And Karen Angstadt of East Brunswick, New Jersey; Kimberly and Stanley Cantilina of Middletown, New Jersey; Brett And Deborah Angstadt of Huntington Station, New York and Stephanne and Robert Franke of Oakland , New Jersey. All of his nieces and nephews will truly miss their uncle….Matthew, Justin, Brandon and Amanda Angstadt; Ashley and Max Angstadt and Alexandra and Natalie Franke. Visitation Services will begin Tuesday July 24, 2012 at noon to 2 p.m. at the Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Avenue, Oakland, New Jersey 07436. Burial Services will follow at the Ponds Church Cemetery Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, New Jersey.
